I know that this is becoming more and more difficult to find, but does anyone know of a company offering td cover included in policy or on a pay per day basis?

Try Esteem Insurance (Or AON, it's the same company).
They won't insure you for the first time you track it, but once you've proved yourself you can pay on a day-by-day basis.

Pretty cheap too, which helps!

Tim.

Yep Esteem is £25 per track day but they wont touch you if you are under 30 or for your first day.

Hi, i have a policy with Competition Cars. Fully comp cover, protected with limited mileage with 4 free trackdays covered per year. (Anymore and you get a rate of £60 or something per additional TD) Phone:01159415255.

They were only £80 more for a years insurance cover, over my renewal with a 'normal' insurance company that don't allow trackdays....

I found Esteem pricey myself. Good luck.

p.s. Mention my registration and name, maybe i'll get some money off on my renewel later in the year

I called Comp Car this week and their price is marginally more than Footman James but the track day cover has sold me so I'll go with them. I liked the fact that I spoke to a guy who seemed to know cars too and when I asked about mods he knew what I meant.

If you're paid-up member of SELOC you get 10% off I think.

Dave, your new car is lovely

Thanks chaps. Couldn't get hold of esteem - engaged all the time. Did talk to Comp Cars and it turns out they are the same crew as Egger Lawson who I used to insure a Caterham some while back. They include 4 track days per annum in the policy and you can buy more at (I calculate) around £5 to £6 per £1000 covered. Premium seemed reasonable to me too. I will make a couple more calls but would be happy with this.

The Esteem Number I have is 01483 706051. Ask for Sam Aslett (a bloke)

He sorted out my track day cover for Castle combe next Saturday. A bargain at £26.25

Sorry to go slightly off-topic here, but I'm insured by AutoTorque, and I don't have track cover on my policy. Do any of these companies mentioned here do one-off cover for individual trackdays?

Thanks in advance!
