To bed them in properly you need to follow the bedding in procedure specified by the pad manufacturers. They won't necessarily bed themelves in just by being driven around. In fact some pads can 'unbed' themselves in light use and need bedding in again before they will work properly.
Oh by the way, in my experience GreenStuff pull very well when they're hot but are a little bit wooden when they're cold. There are other fast road pads that work well from cold which might suit you better. My current favorites are Tarox XF and Ferodo DS 2500.

I agree with Peter, the Green stuff pads do need to warm up when used with the plain discs but they work very well with the drilled and grooved discs.
I have this set up on mine and I can leave braking from 80 until the last set of markers when approaching a roundabout. They are better than the Passat brakes (previous car) but not as good as my new 318 Ti Sport, they are pretty brutal!
