Personally im praying for less, because if its more I wont be able to get the lowering springs and polybushes for my beta this month.

If im right in what I think it will fail on, im looking at about 3/4 hour of welding and the broken front bonnet release (broken in open position)

Ive had my big bills car - that was the xjs.

I prefer bills to be smaller, even if they occur more often. Thankfully this is the biggest bill ill be facing for it, I hope, as its the initial 'get it roadworthy after rescuing from scrappy' bill.

Unless of course it doesnt meet reserve on ebay, in which case ill be paying for someone to fit the rebuilt gearbox ive got and to change the cambelt. That might cost a few pennies

Oh no! I told him it wasnt particularly high priority so hes held onto it for a while and its back in my grubby mits. All in £200!!!!! fantastic work that man. So tempted to keep it - Gearbox swapped out for another 100 odd quid, cambelt too and itd be good to go forever....
