Phil Mustapha is the main man at Dana Spicer's diff dept, i think Les works for him.
They have all the equipment and parts to overhaul the GKN diff as well as the 4HU fitted to many earlier TVR's.
I would think they might be the most expensive though, but do a thorough job including chemically cleaning the case and painting.

Best to ring and ask - I didn't have a full rebuild (didn't need it to cure my clunk, and Bernie said the diff itself was sound) so not necessarily a good benchmark.
Taking it out and putting it back in again is quite heavy on hours, so if it's in bits, you might as well get as much done as possible - that was my rationale anyway, and I had quite a lot of bits and pieces (tinkering and upgrades) done while the car was off the road.
Well Bernie's only an hour from my house so I took the car down for him to drive so that he could hear what was bugging me. His diagnosis from driving it turned out to be bang on the money, and he didn't treat me as if I were stupid, and discussed all my options with me (one of which was 'do nothing', because whilst the intermittent clunk was irritating, it wasn't causing a problem).
It's exactly how I'd hope to be treated by a specialist. Couple of weeks waiting list, but that didn't cause me any pain.

Saw it at the growl last year, but didn't get a chance to say hello.
Will be getting my interior reupholstered using the same colourways, just with navy and magnolia. I love the reverse door colours and the leather insert panel, instead of carpet, and the centre tunnel looks so much better with dark padded pieces (imo).

I think a lot of that was standard with full hide (which doesn't seem to be that common on Griffs and Chimaeras). You are right though, it's lovely and it was the interior that really sold it to me. Here's a gratuitous pic of the latest 'toy' - the Leven gear gaiter
I see where you got the 'for sale' thing from now. There were two Cherry Griffs at the growl last year - I think the other one was for sale (and sold shortly after IIRC), but it had full grey interior (could have been Portland or a little darker?), and was fully original whereas mine's all Leven and has the roll bar. Here's a (not very good) snap of the two of them together (you shouldn't have mentioned it - I'm going to be like a boring granny with photos of the grandkids now
)
