Is that right, 25mpg.
I thought bikes were a lot more economical than cars even when your giving them welly.

I am currently getting 27mpg from the 325i touring

You're quite right, my calculations were absolute b*llocks

120 to reserve from full to the brim, 12 quid to fill at 78.9ppl. That's 15.21l which is 3.35 uk gallons so that's 35mpg... that's right isn't it?

Sadly I commute 90 miles in total each day on it so you wouldn't believe the stack of optimax cards I've got

Sorry,

Mark

The worst I ever got was full to empty in 20 minutes and 55 miles !

So approx 3.5 gallons gives about 16mpg flat out on a french autoroute baiting a 355 coming back from Le Mans...........Big bikes aren't economical.

Normal race pace we work on about 50-55 mins for a full tank (standard capacity 16 litres) so for example at Snetterton averaging a lap time of about 1min 17sec thats about 47 laps per hour. Oh shit its all gone wrong I don't know how far a lap is anyone care to help me out here
