Hey all. Been a while since I've posted here, but figured I'd add my latest toy. Start off with the previous one first though...
124,000 miles, had it for 5 years, swapped for a kitchen. Regretted ever since, still haven't fitted the kitchen haha.
My mate then sent me the details of this:
In short, it's been off the road for half a decade while the previous owner was meticulously restoring all the bits - right down to getting the subframe regalvanised etc. Wishbones, all the suspension, pretty much everything.
We have the majority of the parts, I've got a new interior to go in, it just needs to go back together again and be resprayed.
It'll be my daily driver probably, so not looking for it to be concours (so won't be bothering to clean up the engine etc), but certainly not planning on cutting corners with what's left.

Early car, even got the original MMC brakes. They are absurdly light.
Radiator is now on and plumbed in, pedals and new master cylinders back on and fitted, heater in... Have to fit the new interior next and clean it all up.
That then leaves the gearbox, which appears to be a bit f
ked, the engine, which I am unsure on, and getting the front and rear clams resprayed. And a million more niggly bits like fitting new headlight brackets, tow post etc.
Hopefully back on the road October somewhen.
