Hey guys

For those who have fitted a Stack pod on a CanAm - how did you get the pod to sit flush along the top of the dash? The top is quite curved and the pod is leaving quite a gap on the outer side. Any advise is appreciated.

Thanks

It is indeed a bit tricky and some fettling is needed. I will not know what the final look will be until everything is covered in leather.

Don ´t you have a threaded rod in the middle of your dash? On mine, when I tighten the nut, it pulls the dash against the Stack pod.

The inner side (lenght wise across dash top) is flush with the dash top, where as the outer side has a gap of almost 10-15mm... I'm worried if I tighten the nut too much it might crack the GRP?

To get the pod to fit I had to add epoxy paste and extend the pod on the outer side... almost done but it looks like this now:

I have a Stack dash in my GTR and found I needed to grow a peek on the front of the pod to both shade it from sunlight and stop the dash from reflecting off the windscreen at night.

If you are not trimming it you could coat the outside with gel coat, sand, cut and polish it to look right.
