VXR8 Auto issue

Hi There, as of the past week switching my LS2 auto into 'manual select' it seems to stop working and become unavailable after around 20 mins of driving, normally at traffic lights I stick it to neutral, go to use it again and it just stay's in full auto mode. Turning the ignition off and back on its available again.

It's not the end of the world, but seems random for what I assume is some sort of electrical switch under the trim to randomly stop working after a period of time.

You could try disconnecting the battery for five minutes, as it will then reset the gearbox learning parameters.
