And so today I say goodbye to my 993 Carrera 2S Coupe. Sadly living abroad meant that I wasn't getting any real use out of her and financial priorities changing meant that it no longer made sense to keep her cocooned in storage. Time to let someone else really use the car as it was intended. But in the couple of years that I have owned the car, I have fond memories of some great drives, and I've been brought into contact with great people in the Porsche community like Steve Winter at Jaz who's an absolute pro and so easy to deal with. Shout out also to Tim and his team at Windrush in Oxfordshire who have kept my car carefully stored when I am not in the country. And finally to Dan & Tom at 911V who deserve all the great feedback they get on this forum. Never met them in person, but all it took was a couple of phone calls and they did their due diligence on the vehicle, inspected it and made payment for the vehicle as promised all within the space of 3 days from start to finish. One day I'll return to the UK and get back into Porsche ownership (probably through Dan & Tom) but for now it's goodbye. Whoever picks her up next won't be disappointed.
