Hi, need a new exhaust system,found a company called exhaust a fix in Darlington which is relatively near me.Does anyone know this company cheers

yeah ..... run by Anthony Eaton - an old road rallyist mate

they only do mild steel.

for stainless you need Tyre Spot but I believe they only do that at their Scotswood depot (Newcastle)

they also do a good job.

must admit I did my own - well put it together using Jetex pipe and bends - then paid a welder to weld the bits together

doesn't have to be stainless who would do the best job?,not up to speed on TVR yet what car/engine in the photo?.Do the north east owners ever have a meet it seems a bit like billy no mates in this area cheers Keith

have to work 3 days this week tomorrow is one of them ,any ideas on exhaust went for a gallop around the Northunberland ring today and now have an open seam on my silencer replacement has now gone from sometime to soon cheers Keith

The problem with getting exhausts made up for the S is that as far as I am aware there isn't an "off the shelf" twin silencer box that will fit between the chassis rails. This means that any system made up from standard components results in compromised ground clearance. This is why TVR used the odd square section centre box. I considered making up a 'two' into 'one' back into 'two' system but in the end cut-up and rebuilt my off the shelf centre box to fit. I now rarely hit a speed bump instead of hitting all of them.

Final offer of the original steel system lying in my garden - its pretty sound but needs attention to the baffles..
