VIN on S2

The VIN on my 1989 S2 is underneath the exhaust manifold on the drivers side (RHD car).

Yes welded to top chassis rail as above. Usually covered in paint and gunge.

Check again it should be there, it's a welded on steel strip with numbers stamped into it
- here's a pic to help ...... scraped free of rust, etc., but not painted over !

Not sure what this is. My 1989 has four numbers on the chassis under the AFM/air filter brackets on the TOP rail. This is the TVR chassis build number.
