After a run out today the S was ticking over with the voltmeter at the usual 13v reading.For no particular reason I switched on the heater fan to full and the meter registered a drop to 12v as soon as the switch was pressed.
It's just that I've only seen such a direct response from an ammeter but not from a voltmeter?

I think that at tick over only registering battery voltage which drops with load
