Morning All

Wondered if the wonderful PH masses could help on this.

Yesterday when opening the roof I heard a clunk, but thought nothing of it. However when closing the roof the driver's side would not lift and I had to close the roof by manually lifting the driver's side in synchrony with the powered lift of the passenger's side

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Had a similar problem with mine last year but may not be the same cause

The steel deck would only lift on one side and it was a loose pin in the motorised arm that had come out.

Just had the knuckle joints and hinges oiled during this service but it might be that a cable has snapped on yours

Does the steel deck operate ok or is the hood itself that is not working correctly?

Kind regards

Thanks for getting back to me

The metal 'clamshell' is lifting fine, it's the fabric hood, the nearside is lift as intended, but the offside is lagging behind

tempted to put the hardtop on and forget until spring!

Could I recommend a little WD40 on the main knuckle joints and see if that helps at all otherwise sadly I think it might be a trip to the OPC or Indy

Kind regards
