Where do you keep your phone? Wallet?

I usually put my phone in my jersey pocket, but it gets sweaty and ikkky.

Would like a nice zip up wallet to stick my phone in, cash, and maybe house key.

What do you guys use?

I've seen a Rapha "essentials" case that fits the bill, but it's £45! Anything cheaper?

I just put mine in my jersey, sweat doesn't effect it.

DHB (wiggle) make a pouch though if you want to avoid looking a total shaft at your local teastop with a rapha one

I keep my phone, house key and a £10 note in a Ziplock bag in a jersey pocket.
Cheap, waterproof and does the job perfectly!

I put mine in a sandwich/freezer bag to prevent sweat issues.

Phone or car key goes in a plastic bag if its raining. Always have my phone and £20 .... only take a bank card if going a little further. Cash might get a little moist on a summers day but it still spends. I never take a wallet.

I sometimes I put it in my jersey pocket in a bag. Alternatively I'll commit various asthetic offences against road cycling and use a bag strapped to my top tube (bought for stashing food on longer triathlons) or a saddle bag.

Use two freezer bags for the phone. Also contains hands free cable, £20, few pound coins and my debit card. House key is in saddle bag.

However, its been a long time since I've been out for a proper ride. I commute every day and usually my wallet is in front pocket of the Brompton bag and phone is in a freezer bag in the pocket of my MTB shorts. full set of keys is in my other MTB pocket.

Never felt the need for anything more complicated than a freezer bag for the phone. I carry the ear phones in case i need the navigation on the phone and its much easier to use headphones instead of getting the phone out of your pocket all the time.

Ive got a small toiletry bag I stuff tools, levers and bank cards in

Phone I put in jersey pocket, worth investing in a "tough" rubber case to protect it, I put it in a sandwhich bag if it rains

Just put it in your jersey. Sometimes use a ziplok freezer bag if i'm taking cash and race licence etc. The sweat has never had any ill effects, and I have the obnoxioulsy large iphone 6.

Phone, 20 CHF note, a credit card and medical insurance card all go in a ziploc bag in a jersey pocket here. No need for an expensive case, it just adds bulk, and I wouldn't take a full wallet on a ride personally.

No wallet, I take a £20 note, bank card, driving licence in a little ziplock bag, and that, along with my phone, goes into a neoprene 'phone sock' thing that came free with a cycling magazine a couple of years ago.

Sweat doesn't seem to be an issue, but I've recently had to swap in a new ziplock bag because the old one was found to be leaking when I got caught out in two hours of torrential rain recently.

My house key goes in the saddle bag, but if i had to take a car key that'd go in the waterproof ziplock bag to keep it dry too.

My phone logs my rides (in common with many here, no doubt) so it needs to be where it can "see" satellites. So I tend to either put it in the camelbak (if on the MTB) or in a soft phone case hanging on a velcro belt around my waist - I position it at the rear.

I too have a little top tube bag I sometimes use, The Rules be damned. Mainly use it when I'm using an OS Map on my phone for navigation, but I like that when I do it also takes the valuables that would otherwise be in my jersey pockets. (Earlier this year I had a rider behind call out to me after my little card wallet had fallen out unnoticed when I took out some food. I decided not to berate him for silent wheelsucking under the circumstances.)

Worth looking at the quad lock devices for iPhones. Friend of mine has one. Its really good and the lock seems to work well.

Random plastic bags that bike parts come in, with £10 note (2 pints+) and hard copy ID card. GPS still works through jersey pocket and a gilet or jacket over that, somehow.

Although I don't like the aesthetics I use a saddle bag. It has 2 compartments....1 for my phone and keys etc, the other for spare tube, tyre levels and CO2 canisters.

£3.50 in change (enough for coffee & cake around here) in change plus a tenner in a deal sized ziplock, old splashproof SonyEricsson C702 and house keys all go in a back pocket.

I did get some DHB jersey bins, put they stick out the top of pockets so only get used when I do the odd audax and need to keep my card dry.

fk you and your "rules" - it all goes in a saddlebag. In the event of a big off, i want a working phone that i can use, not a collection of broken plastic and wires between my back and the tarmac.
For the first time t'other day on a longish ride i also used a so-called "Triathlon" bag on the toptube - it was ace being able to easily get a couple of jelly babies out.

Valid point regarding looking a shaft.

On a side note, I thought I was edgy and cool having my strava display pic as a "rekt m8" styled one.......then I saw yours. Great minds I guess.
