Parquet/laminate Flooring
Discussion
Wondering if I can get some advice before I waste time and effort on this.
We have an old floor in our living room which is creaky old pine wood flooring on a floating base. It is not quite flat and I am wondering whether I can lay Parquet or Laminate over the top of it without having to take it up and level the concrete floor underneath.
Will it still feel like I'm walking on something with a poor foundation or can I offset this with underlay and quality flooring and just lay it on top?
