Went to a farm last week to pick up a Kawasaki Mule that we'd bought from the farmer...smile

Found these 2 gems just sitting in an old barn.

1948 Rover 60, bought 30 years ago by the farmer, with a plan to restore it in his retirement.....that's not going to happen now, as he has a rod in his back from an accident a few years back.

The other car is a Rover 2200, left there in 1992 by an elderly relative whom then passed away...looked very solid and original with a webasto roof and a crate full of spare panels

" I,m going to restore this when I retire " how many times have we all heard that 'pony & trap'
bought my first vintage car 25 years ago when I was 35, still use it on a regular basis, BUT, I,m never going to restore it, been buggering about with cars for 40 years and can't think of anything less I want to do than p*ss about covered in grease and rust at my age, Whirlybird junior can have all that hassle. !!!!! rolleyes
