This was from our last race of the year in Future Classic's with the old school Rover car 77 with 48 Dellorto carbs and TKO 600 manual on Saturday at Donnington Park, a right proper ding dong. 6th overall and third in class. It's quite long so you may need to settle down with a tipple while the other half cooks dinner wink

Good race, interesting to watch the class differences in power & handling...that MX5 was quick..particularly in the bends and chicane. Sounds good though, you can't beat a V8 for noise!

Is there a control tyre for all..are slicks allowed?

Morning , no Slix allowed tyres for this series are from list 1a or 1b in blue book. I use Toyo 888's. Glad you enjoyed.

Watched it late last night, great racing Perry.

Amazing how so many different cars are so evenly matched!

The best part was freeze framing as you pass the pit wall, You can just make me out holding the car 77 board wink

I did a TD earlier this year at Snetterton and that red sierra was there. Very quick and armed with a V8!

I will post the vid from the MX5 at some stage. A lot less tyre, traction, power, brakes and stiffness than the tuscan challenge car, we had our worst driver change ever which brought Clive back out near yourself which should not have happened. We raced again on the Sunday in the M3 which had continued cooling problems and we should have taken the MX5, a car that pretty much never gets any race prep and always soldiers on.
