I need to increase the fuel pump prime time on a GM LS7 ECU.
I have no idea if this is possible or what would be involved.
Can anybody tell me or point me in the right direction?

You'll need someone with efilive or HP tuners Id guess to flash the change to your ecu.

Richard ingram is UK distributor for efilive, if you're not local he can probably put you in touch with someone that can help - and advise whether or not you can even do it.

You would need to change the following parameter (EFILive)

Fuel Pump Keyon Prime (Seconds) {F0584}. Mine is defaulted to 2 seconds.

You would need someone with EFILive, and then you would also need to buy a Licence to allow you to flash the changes. Richard can be contacted through here to discuss pricing: http://www.efilive.eu/

I have HP tuners- will have a look. Have you tried on hp tuners forum- you can normally find answer to most questions.

Steve
The HP pump speed controller takes more than 2 secs to boot up so we get little or no prime.
It would of course be possible to run the pumps from the ignition on and the speed controller does have a prime time setting but if changing the prime time in ECU with current wiring was easier then that would be good!

This guy is in Esher surrey. Not sure how far that is from you?
If you were able to help it would be great.
I guess that buying the software etc for this change would not make sense!

Mark, my MIL is in Cobham, so Esher would be easy for me to do a read. £150 for the programming licence might be a bit of a push for just this though. But with a licence, future stuff like programming out knock then becomes a "free" option...
