As per the title really.

I'd like to put a TV in my youngest son's room that doesn't have an aerial socket.

Any help/advice/recommendations would be great smile

[shakes head]

The answer is use cables. The answer is always run cables.

However you've told us nothing about what you want the TV in your son's bedroom to do.

Do you want it to display the same TV Channel that is showing on the lounge/kitchen/bedroom/bathroom TV? (The answer will be run a cable.)

Do you want it to be able to display different terrestrial channels? - you'll need to run a cable.

Do you want him to be able to watch FreeSat channels? The answer will be run a cable.

Where to/from and how you might run these cables depends upon you telling us what you want to achieve and the shape of your house.

However if you just want him to watch youtube/porn, then buy a WiFi enabled SMART TV - connect it to your broadband router - via WiFi and you're sorted.

Well I bought a wireless sender set up the other day as I was hoping (not very confidently) that this would obviate the need to run cables around the house.

Total ste! Don't bother.

Only paid £50 so maybe more expensive kit will be better, but I'm not inclined to spend the cash to find out.

Cables it is!

Not really porn, he's under 10! It's mainly for a tap off the incoming aerial signal for free view.

I've used a wireless sender before and it was st.

Cables are possible. Thanks for the input.
