Vantage Roadster - Parrot install
Discussion
Hi All,
I just purchased an 08 Vantage Roadster, I'm picking up the car at the end of the week.
Firstly, thanks to everyone who's posted on this part of the forum, I've read quite a few things on these cars over the last year and finally decided to take the plunge.
I'm sure this subject may have been covered before, but couldn't see what I was looking for, please don't shoot me down for asking questions that may already have been covered elsewhere.
My car doesn't have Bluetooth, although it's not going to be anything like a daily driver I quite like the convenience of having Bluetooth.
My thoughts were to fit a basic parrot kit, I don't want anything to be visible whatsoever as I think it would ruin the interior look of the car, but it would be useful to have hands-free. It doesn't need to stream music, the car has iPod integration which is good enough for me, so it just needs to handle phone calls. I definitely don't want a bright coloured screen stuck somewhere on the dashboard. I did read somewhere that someone had managed to put the answer button hidden in one of the cubbyhole somewhere which sounds ideal.
My particular car has the standard stereo unit, so I think it should be relatively straightforward but just wondered if anyone could point me in the direction and give me any hints and tips? Any input is greatly received, thank you.
