Heated Gloves?

Not for me, I get really hot hands when riding, sadly Mrs. Scruff doesn't and it's already starting to impact her, even at this time of year.

Anyone used them with for cycling? Any recommendations/suggestions of what to avoid? I have some on my motorbike but they're wired into the bike! Would something like these work?

I can't keep my feet warm so use battery powered foot warmers designed for ski boots. I presume they do something similar for gloves.

Not needed. I really struggle with cold hands but this was fixed when I purchased DeFeet gloves. Only £13 or so. Best gloves ever. Worn them in - temps, no issue.

Now if you can suggest something similar for feet I'm all ears. I've tried all sorts of socks, with and without overshoes with no success. First 45 minutes or so are ok then it's freezing time.

Pretty sure they do socks too. I gave up and just went for winter boots.

Gotta be worth a try at that price as there are some damned expensive gloves around !! Numb fingers is the only thing that really puts me off going out in the depths of winter

Pfft. Aldi special gloves are fine to -5 at least. Not breathable, sweaty as fk, but warm. I think they were about 4 quid =)

Tried so many types of gloves it's unreal - still she gets cold hands... Her current ones are Pearl Izumi lobsters and even with them she gets white fingers after 20 minutes or so. Think heating might be the best option, assuming they're practical and work properly.

Yep, that's them. Only gloves I've used for the last 5? winters.

I love the Duras too, down to about zero (on mtb, won't ride on road if icy) then it's the full on Aldi jobbies.

I have Northwave Artic GTX boots but my feet still go numb after an hour in anything below 10C. I bought some disposable toe warmers from Amazon and when used in conjunction with the Northwaves it takes 3hrs before my feet go numb. If I put another set of warmers in after 3hrs I think I would be fine.

I have Reynaud's and it has got steadily worse over the last few years. To cope with this I have had to up my game each year and buy warmer and warmer kit. I think that as it's getting progressively worse I will run out of options of the next few years.

I use Shimano winter boots and have never had a problem. However, when researching them many moons ago, someone did say that they switch to full on winter walking boots with thick hiking socks and swap their pedals to flats during the winter.

Maplin had heated gloves, shoe inserts and waistcoats last year and they were pretty reasonable.
i have the waistcoat for the motorbike and it works a treat on batteries.
worth a look anyway.
