I was sitting in my car in the rain the other day and noticed the tiniest weep coming in the front edge of the door. The car is never usually out in the rain and is kept garaged but I would obviously like to get this sorted before it has the chance to get any worse.
Can anyone point me in the direction of where to buy the door seals by the meter rather and how many meters are needed?
Also is this an easy DIY job or do they need gluing in? I did the boot seal but I can't for the life of me remember where I bought it but it was an easy clip in job.
Thanks.

Rhys,
The usual TVR parts people have the seal. I renewed mine about 2 months ago, seal supplied by TVR Parts/Racing Green. Seems good quality material.
Yes you buy per metre and you need 8M to do right round. The old seal should just pull off and the new one just 'clips' on...might need a bit of help with a soft face/rubber mallet.
If the door glass is a bight tight on the new profile, just use some silicone spray (get from curtain/upholstery shop)on the new rubber and after a couple of goes, it'll have bedded in.

I found that the Woolies seal was just slightly too big - - the targa had to be really pushed into the windscreen header and the doors would just about close, but the windows struggled to lift with the door closed.
I replaced my seal 2 months ago with stuff from TVR Heritage/Racing Green, having renewed the carpets, and I have to say that this seal seems just about perfect.
Woolies are very helpful - but for me, their profile seemed not quite correct.

Thanks, Is it something the a liberal spray of silicon would get round? I would have thought ( though I guess I'm wrong) that a tighter fit would stop any more dribbles?I found that the Woolies seal was just slightly too big - - the targa had to be really pushed into the windscreen header and the doors would just about close, but the windows struggled to lift with the door closed.

...Would having a tighter fit make a better seal? - well yes, in theory it might. Don't forget that you can adjust the 'mushroom' on the door to pull the B post end of door tighter, you can tweak the metal guide (behind 'hockey-stick on A pillar) to push the glass more firmly onto the (A-post) seal....Plus hinge adjustment ets, etc, but you don't really want to be doing that!!
Good luck.
