Brake and Clutch replacement options
Discussion
Hello all,
I'm looking for advice on brake upgrade options and also new clutch options.
First the brakes: I'm looking for 'packages' for brake upgrades, as I have someone to fit them. I have 17 inch SP12s on the front (18 inch rear) so hoping to get a bigger disc in, say 330mm. I'd like to replace the rear discs and pads, but am I right in saying the rears don't benefit from upgrades? Does anyone know where I should look?
Also, advice on the best pads for 'fast road' would be good too.
I'd also like advice on clutch replacement. My clutch has done 65 000 miles and is just beginning to slip at high torque demands. What is the OEM clutch on a Serp 500/T5 and are there any 'upgrade' options worth considering?
Thank you in advance of your expert advice.
Cheers.

Quite a lot on these forums on 4 pot calipers etc. Worth a Google search but for the cost, do you really need a them uprated or would a good rebuild do with new discs and pads?I'm looking for advice on brake upgrade options and also new clutch options.

Worth a punt....
For the clutch, again not an expert but these must be worth a look:

Thanks to all for the advice.
I liked the look of this for the brakes (I have after market larger diameter wheels):: http://www.reyland.co.uk/tvr/ Reyland Track 330 TVR Griffith/Chimera front: AP Racing 4-pot caliper and 2-piece 330x28mm disc kit
But due to financial limits decided to stick with the original set up and just replace discs and pads from EBC. Even that (with a new rear caliper) cost £700! As for the clutch, again replaced it with the original spec. As it was, the clutch still had loads of life left in it, but an oil seal had leaked and the plates got coated.
Haven't got the car back yet to comment on any difference in braking or in clutch feel.
