Had a fab 993 C4 until an old geezer hit me head on and it’s now a right off!
So, looking at getting a 997 GTS. Not sure to go for a coupe or convertible
Do you get a hard top for the convertible ?
Any advice would be gratefully received.

Sounds like mrD has been hit on the head with his kindly replies of late(only joking)
Imo the 911 should be coupe only and more so the Gts

Only you can decide if you want a Coupe or Cabriolet.

Personally I'd go for a manual coupe.

Do you need a 2+2?

If you want a soft top have you thought about a Boxster GTS (981) or Spyder (987)?

Take an afternoon and go and drive a selection.

They never look that great with the hard top fitted, IMO.

Hi everyone, cheers for the reply's.
Looks like the coupe is looking a better option, maybe better as I live in Aberdeenshire Scotland! Not much call for a convertible up here. Not a lot on the market at this time!
Had a look at the normal sites, Pistonheads, Topmarques, Auto trader, not a lot going at this time. Again cheers the info, Brooner

I think the most desirable 997 GTS would be a Manual Coupe, ideally with pccbs.

A Cab with PDK would take the edge off the car. But that's just me - you must make your choices.

Haven't seen manual GTS for ages. Now worth more than a PDK?

Probably not far off on price given aero kit and mileage. There are enough people talking up desirability of the manual that someone will go for it.
