Gen 2 R8 V10 Plus

Had a preview of this at Fawsley Hall, Northants this week. They had a pre production car along with a 1st Gen R8 Coupe. The Gen 2 looks fantastic. It appears lower, wider and more pumped up and aggressive. The silver Gen 1 car looked dated in comparison, a much softer look. Inside the car the difference is more stark. The virtual instrument display and surrounding controls makes this the best interior of any current supercar on sale IMHO. Given how much better it appears to drive from the early mag tests too, I think they have a complete winner. It has the same outputs in PS and NM as a Huracan and has had more engineering time to market. And its cheaper. Discuss.

I'm sure the Gen2 will be a great drive but the styling is a disappointment and they've thrown out some of the signature pieces (side blades, knurled alloy shifter etc). I prefer the look of the Gen1.
