I had these in Malibu and need to find a place in the UK that does them:

It's like some kind of next level taste sensation, keep thinking about them. Better than any take away food I've had ever. I need them in my life.

They look tasty. The fish appears to be tinned tuna though - or am i wrong?

They are on all the menus down the Florida keys but the fish is breaded. Look easy enough to make.

Burrito van in Epsom market place does them. Doubt that helps though

They're easy to make at home. I have them at least once a week.

Ceviche tacos are popular in South America, using fresh tuna or even shark.

Are those ceviche tacos in the picture?

Ingredients look like some form of salsa, guacamole, leaves and fish? Presumably it's the herbs & spices which make them special?

Jamie's Superfoods showed you how to do them tonight...the tacos didn't sound that nice to me, and 420 cals per portion didn't sound great as they were tiny...but they looked to be a piece of piss to make.

Luck, lust, liquor & burn in Manchester does them.

Alternatively, they are a piece of cake to make yourself and work well with both white fish and salmon.

Indeed. Cheapo fish tacos stateside seem to be the equivalent of a fish finger sandwich.

I make them regularly and they're absolutely delicious and much lighter than fajitas/burritos.

Really nice if you make it with a lime and coriander coleslaw with shredded white cabbage.

Very basic...

'Slaw

Sliced white cabbage, sliced spring onions, coriander, salt and pepper, 0% fat yoghurt or reduced fat sour cream to bind it all together, lime juice

Salsa

Sliced spring onions, diced chilli, diced tomatoes (pips and juice removed), lime juice, splash of oil, coriander, salt and pepper. Sometimes, if I can be arsed, I add in grilled corn for a burst of sweetness.

Fish

Any kind of white fish, sprinkle with smoked paprika, cumin, oregano, pepper and bit of lime juice - marinade for no longer than 10 minutes or the fish will fall apart.

Dust in seasoned flour (or sometimes tempura batter, if I'm feeling sexy)

Fry

Assemble in a flour tortilla (for a supermassive taco), or a few small soft tacos, sprinkle with a little cheese, quick squeeze of lime, roll up and shove into gob smile

Forgot to mention, put a little crushed/grated garlic (like half a clove) in the salsa and 'slaw. Don't go too heavy on it though, raw garlic is really harsh and can be overpowering.
