As per the above...

Ideally switchable that would not break the bank.

PS. I do realise I can buy a system from Oz, but was hoping for a local option. Don't really want to buy a fabricated option either, as results could be unpredictable.

Walkinshaw, or Wortec have anything in the bag?

I have been in touch with walkinshaws and they say it will be available very soon, but how soon that would be they could not say, I asked Dave at WS on Friday

Yeah, I read on the Oz website comments from 2013, when they were saying it would be soon...

Starting to wonder whether I might get a half decent result with bespoke system.

Thanks Tony,
Apparently, the VF option is not compatible with GenF GTS. Or at least that's according to the Walky Oz source.

Might be worth asking KPM if they have something. They were ok to deal with by email when I bought mine.

Yes. Nice 3" system.

WPUK have been on the case of remanufacturing the Walky W507 exhaust for most of this year. I would not hold out hope that they actually get it done any time soon. Custom or imported are the only way to go really.

So, I have done some research, and got some prices, and it seems that to manufacture a 3" catback, it would cost me between £1500 - £2000. There was one company who I had used in the past (despite tons of bad reviews by others) that would charge £550.

I can also get a Tekno perormance / KPM / Harrop catback for around £1500 landed.

There is also someone on the forum who would let me have a full system (back to back) for not much more. But it would need some refab to suit.

Naturally, this would have been the best option, but then I would be looking at getting a remap, cat delete, ideally CAI (this would be extra), and of course, I would loose my warranty...

Should I just sit on it for now? Or should cut my back boxes open for now, remove the sound proofing, and carry on? hehe

If you do the rear box mods you can still have the option for loud and quiet on a remote controlled switch using what you already have

Do you think it would sound any good, though?

Also, my bimodal is vacuum operated. Would I need a kit for it?

PS. I have got all the necesary tools to carry out the mods including a welding machine, so it should be easy.

Not sure what it is going to sound like.

Just need to but a 12v vac switch, I got one on eBay from an Audi then buy a remote controlled 12 volt switch on eBay too, £20 max for the both items, all the mods you do to the box just do ones that can be returned back to original if it sounds bad, the rear boxes are to quiet anyway
