Wrist pain - behave.
Discussion
About 5 months ago, I banged my right wrist. I can't remember how, exactly, but it was probably catching an auto-closing shop door or something. Whatever it was, I didn't think anything of it at the time. However, it's still hurting. Right in the middle of my wrist, radially, but more towards the hand than the arm. I can use my hand, type, eat etc, but I can't really lift anything heavy, or push. The pressure of using a stapler, for example, is quite painful, as is lifting something with a flat hand, like an open laptop. Car door handles are also painful. Lifting mugs or beer glasses is fine. If I lay on it in bed it hurts, and I can only pull it back (as per the "bad ass here" meme) about half as far as the other one.
But, 5 months is a long time. I assume it's probably more than just a pulled muscle? Anyone ever had anything similar? Any suggestions?
(due to where I am, I can't be arsed to go through the whole medical/doctor route, as to be honest I think they'll try and "over consult" and rip me off - but if worthwhile I'll get checked next time I'm in the uk)

Drink more beer, it'll hurt less. Also - you're in India - Employ someone to lift stuff for you for £1 a week.
Seriously - go to the Doc mate; it could be a number of things and you'll probably need a scan to get a decent diagnosis. You have medical insurance there I presume?
If you'd like, I'll ask the missus if she know of a decent doc in Bombay that won't take the piss - you're in Navi Mumbai if I recall?

Yeah, you did leave it a while. I did something in my wrist when climbing (doing a dyno, this kind of thing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtH7Qzdjbho ). Was ok-ish that evening but the next day I knew I'd buggered something. Took about 18 months to heal.
