My battery has gone flat on my Tuscan S and I've been really smart by leaving all my leadsaccumate charger etc in the boot.
Please can someone email me the secret way of getting in

Thanks

Sorry Paul I guess people are reluctant to send this kind of information to a new member, particularly as this is your first post on Pistonheads. I am sure you're completely legitimate and will hopefully understand why people are reluctant to divulge this information.

Suggest a call to your supplying dealer may be the best course.

Good luck

If it's just "a bit iffy", then best you take the jump leads/charger/whatever out of the boot & stick them in the passenger's footwell, possibly...

Stuck the trickle charger on it over night, all good now. You almost need to keep the jumpleads on the outside of the car.

Still no joy - called my dealer who told me how to access the boot release, tried it and I cannot find the release cable at all - I guess they build each one differently!
Another weekend with two flat TVRs on the drive, maybe time to swap for something that works like a Porsche

Good plan. I'm sure Porsche batteries are the dog's.
Maybe you could just buy one of their batteries and stick it in the Tuscan?

Well I guess the dealers was sort of right - they had the approximate location right and I've eventually found it. Got all my leads now (which I can really recommend - I have the Leven ones with all the extra connections like charging via the cigarette lighter - works really well on the Chimaera, jump leads with the undercar - tuscan - connection etc). Battery looks really dead so will have to wait till tomorrow to see if its taken any charge.

If the battery is in a very discharged state an Accumate will not charge it up, it would be best to disconnect the battery and charge up with a normal charger.
