So what do you think?
Discussion
It's sunday, and it;s not raining, so out to wash cars, thought I would take some pictures and share them with you all!
I have been working hard on reducing the 'things to do list ' since I bought the car (currently on number 2!)
So far have carried out complete service with new air filter etc, have also changed brake and clutch fluids, fitted new discs and pads and installed new Power Boost Valve.
I have shown a picture of how the installation of this valve went, as I know from reading previous posts that the vertical and horizontal bolt issue is confusing. I needed the most expensive kit (bloody typical!) What I can say is that the more expensive kit has a remote mounted valve, and needs new fuel and linking pipes installed. Still pretty straight forward though. Excellent result! Much smoother and free reving, better in mid range and much better on take off (and yes I do mean take off!)
Car has Koni adjustable shockers fitted, but I think they are a bit high at the back? Had them set highish due to where I live causing problems with grounding, but am now regretting it.
Any comments would appreciated!
Ian
ps. Before anyone mentions it am in the process of replacing the gear lever gaiter, as it had been sewn together too tight and was stopping the car getting reverse!
