Ballast resistors 2.9

I thought that the 2.9 didn't have resistors until I looked under the scuttle on the drivers side within the engine compartment where I found two resistors connected in series, the wires from which went through the bulkhead anyone any ideas cheers Keith

They are used for dimming the instrument light intensity. What's the problem with yours ?

wasn't sure if they were for ignition and had been wired back to the switch.Now makes sense, thanks for that Keith
