How far would you go?
Discussion
Ive arrived at a crossroads in life i'm almost 30 and will finish my degree next September. I dont want to be one of those graduates that finishes and then does nothing afterwards, so my question is. How far would you go to get a job in the field you love? Im already at the stage of considering other countries.
A bit of a different scenario but I moved from the south coast to northants when I was 17 to go for the job I wanted, and more recently I've worked in Italy, Germany and the Czech Republic when there were no decent contracts in the UK. It was terribly nerve wracking at the time but probably the best thing I have ever done.
If you can and want to travel I would say go for it, and when you come home and see people you've known years still in the same town doing the same old stuff they've always done, you'll know you did the right thing.
