People can't hear me on Xbox live

I just served a 24 hour communication ban on Xbox One, it was lifted at 9:46pm today. I can send messages and receive them, but I cannot be heard in party chat or game chat. I can hear others, but they cannot hear me at all, despite the little icon coming up to say I'm talking. My mic definitely works too.

Any ideas?

Sign out/back in? Speaking bans are different than comms bans, you can be allowed to send messages yet not talk in XBL rooms.

Probably a good thing, knowing the people that get comms bans for just being loud, squeaky and obnoxious in multiplayer games. But there is a work around/work around, create a new xbl account and sign that into your xbox as well as your main profile. You will then be able to talk even though you are serving a ban.

During the ban, I couldn't send messages or speak to anyone. Now that it's been lifted, I can send messages but still can't talk to people even though the ban has been lifted.

Muting doesn't stop them waiting on the finish line to take you out after a 5 lap race in the lead
