Collecting a new Cayenne on Friday. They asked me if I want it initialise the tracker.
Dealer said about 70% take the option. Makes no difference to my insurance.

I always take the view that if it's stolen I don't want it back anyway!

Is it worth bothering?

nope

imo anything which tracks you is not a nice thing to have as it will log your speed data.

you could be doing 65 in a 60 and no fault of your own some numpty pulls out on you and is killed.

60 or 65 mph would have made no odds, but the law will get the tracker info and see you were breaking the law and you will be screwed and convicted and do time !

"Causing Death by Dangerous Driving,(that inc speeding in the UK) is a maximum penalty of 14 years in prison"

if some one dies they will get the tracker data !

You can activate the tracker at some future date if the need arises.
