Is there such a thing as a spell checker that checks and corrects as you're typing, in any program or window you have running.

For example, I'm forever typing teh instead of the and cna instead of can .. what would be really great is if these words could be automatically changed when I get them wrong ..

it'd also be great to have the program change it when I'm writing like this in the PH window to post a message .. is there such a thing that can do it or do i have to re-read all my text before posting to make sure it's as ok as i can get it?

apologies if this contains any errors, I'm tired lol.

any help greatly appreciated.

you can install something like http://spellbound.sourceforge.net/ for Firefox and something like www.iespell.com/ for :spit: IE

Nearly. Mac OSX has system wide built in spell checking (in multiple languages too). So every text field can check your spelling as you type. What it won't do (in the current version at least) is auto-fix common mistypes. Just one more way that OSX is better than Windows

You're not teh only one. I'm forever doing that.

The sensible thing to do would be to type (especially longer passages) in a Microsh1te Worm document and paste it in.

But whoever would do the sensible thing round here?
