Hello all,
I'm asking this on behalf of a good friend (honestly, if I was asking for myself, I'd admit it smile
This watch was bought from a well known London antiques dealer back in 1999. I'm really struggling to see any auction results or any similar watches for sale ANYWHERE in the world currently.
I was wondering if anyone out there had any ideas or suggestions as he wants to sell it as his son doesn't like it (I know..) and
it never gets worn.

He has all the papers and certificates you'd expect with such a watch.

Any help greatly appreciated - pics below, apologies for the quality..

Put it on ebay, no reserve. silly

I'd love to know, too.

It's difficult to tell with the older Non-automatic movements. I sold my officers model (with the 215 movement)for £5,200 to a trader which he would be selling on retail for £6,995, or at least attempting to. It had all original box and papers.

A model dating back to 1922 I expect would go for less unless it was particularly unusual or rare. I've mainly seen similar in the USA for $3-$7,000

Lots of pateks sold on ebay.de make very good money. I would put a reserve on it!
What kind of officer could have afforded a gold patek in 1922 if they were as dear then as they are now? Funny that, but nice watch.

I like that. If you decide to sell privately I might be interested in the middle of that range - say about £3,300. Feel free to PM me - am in London and not a dealer or anything.
