SOme of you may have missed this:

Factual documentary on the time period between Vice City and San Andreas, all about the controversy and the legal battle behind it.

I thought it was gonna be utter tripe but it was shot fantastically and had some proper fan trivia stuff in there.

I caught it by accident as i didnt see it advertised anywhere

I haven't seen the program but I'm not sure the BBC are best place to pin point what makes GTA so brilliant... I mean, if you've played through the 4 and 5 (I didn't manage much time with Vice or San) the jokes and themes are so far beyond what the BBC would touch.

It's like Blue Peter running a feature length documentary on Frankie Boyle.

Seems it was a load of tosh factually! I watched it and it seemed alright enough, but having recently read the book (Jacked) on Rockstar's origins up until the latest game it was a bit off. Gave a general idea of what happened though with San Andreas, but I was hoping it was telling their whole story, not just the incident shown.
