Big thanks to James Agger

Hi all,
I just wanted to say a public thanks to James Agger for looking after my yellow Chim so well. I bought it from him last year and he helped me with a few bits to get it just right for my tastes. Time came for its service and MOT plus a few bits done to keep it in tip top condition so I thought I would use his guys again despite living a way away. They kindly dropped me off at the station last week and picked me up again this morning. Really happy with what they did, at a very fair price, and the car was looking resplendent in the sun when I arrived.

I've had some horrendous experiences with dealers in the past (like HORRENDOUS) and so I think it's worth acknowledging who the good guys are out there. I understand that buying your first TVR can be both nerve wracking as well as exciting. From my experience you could not meet a more genuine chap than James.

The only problem is his stock is always so attractive it gets me thinking about the next purchase!

My wife has just ordered me a Go Pro so hopefully will have some vids of the car up soon.

Who are his guys ? I was not aware he employed mechanics .

I thought he used local TVR specialists .

He does know about the full range of TVR`s and is a very good "salesman" ,think he sold them at a main TVR dealers when they were building cars .

I've met James and I'd agree he's one of the better chaps to deal with.
His guys are just around the corner from his office,,,probably a local garage that he's been using for Yonks,,
Glad your happy Yellow,, nice to hear a good ending for once,,,
On here you often hear people with a bitter taste in Their mouths even though they have one of the best car/ engines around!

Odd blokes some of us,, that does include me at times,,

He has a couple of guys and a workshop in house, has done since the first time I visited him mid July last year, not sure how long before that.

When I bought my car last year he had a youngish lad working in the workshop... Doing some odd mechanic and tvr oddity jobs. Seemed like a nice guy and I think he was stolen from the local garage.

I would add that James is a great guy... Really helpful and has also put my car through its MOT while I wasn't even in the country. Would happily recommend him. His cars aren't the most expensive out there, but they aren't the cheapest. He finds good examples and prices them fairly I think.

Never had dealings with James direct although we have spoken about a couple of cars he was considering buying that I had seen.

I too have had very bad dealings with other so called TVR dealers, if I was in the market I would be speaking to James.
