I've now reached 5,000 miles. Great car, it's running a little over standard power and has an Evo Akrapovik system fitted.

I am, I also got the matching S1000R, I have 3 more bikes in the garage too. I need to reduce the number of vehicles soon when I move house. I've increased bedrooms but lost garage space ??

Lucky boy. Very lucky boy (the bike being even more special).

There's a black F80 M3 near me and it looks great.

Why the M3 and not the M4 though?

And I prefer the looks of the M3 in any case. My brother has an M4 and it's really nice too.

Somebody asked why he went for an M3 not and M4, and that's the reason for an M3, not an M4!

I also think the M3 is a great looking car - yet to see one in Austin Yellow, only ever M4's.

Yasmarina Blue is slowly growing on me - I didn't like it when it was first launched. Bet the exhaust sounds good too.

Seen a few M3/4's in that colour and it looks amazing. Would second the request to hear the exhaust.

That is just fab. Enjoy it. As for losing garage space, my heart bleeds wink

Love that colour, nice to see something different. Definitely get some vid up of the exhaust!

Love it OP.

I may be in the minority but I really like the new generation of BMW turbo 6s. The best colour too IMO.

4 doors are more practical for when you have a child. It was a two-part explanation.

M3 looks great, definitely more appealing to me than an M4.

Exactly. It's hard enough squeezing her into the baby seat in the 4 door let alone a 2 door. Though as I said above I prefer the looks of the M3 in any case. My brother has an M4 and it's a great car, just not my preference.

The M3 IMO looks far far better than the M4

I felt the same about the E90 over the E92 the saloon has much better proportion to its rear quarters
