Ebay and the SOGA
Discussion
Hi
I bought an item off Ebay in June which has stopped working through normal use. As it is not fit for purpose can I expect to secure either a repair or replacement off the vendor? It was bought through an Ebay vendor who has an Ebay shop rather than a private individual.
Thanks
Graham

Regardless of the legality here, there is a practical solution. In my case the seller ignored my emails and forwarded me to the manufacturer.
Philips to their credit just asked for my receipt and the new model of the dead toothbrush arrived 48 hours later.
Rightly or wrongly, it seems some sellers just push you back to the manufacturers guarantee. It's a darn sight easier doing that though than fighting some small time guy.
