1999 e240 hopefully minor problems

I've just bought the above.
It has a couple of problems that need fixing.
1.The sunroof motor whirs away but nothing happens.
2.The drivers window goes down great but is not so keen on going back up.
3.the heater is rubbish mainly on the low settings the fan works but it does not seem to transfer to air coming into the cabin.
These faults are of made up by the fact that there is little or no rust.
Its just had a service with all the plugs etc being changed.
It has just about complete mb service history.
The above faults are they a easy or hard fix?
If its a garage fix are there any recommendations in the Nottingham area.

I remember reading somewhere that these have the potential to be amazing cars and that their only letdown was bodywork issues so the fact you've managed to get one in such good nick with full service history is good.
As for the problems you're having the window is probably an easy fix ie a new regulator. You could probably do it yourself if you have the right tools.
The heater issue sounds like something similar I had with my 2000 SLK, the fan was as strong as being coughed on by a mouse and sometimes it didn't come on at all which was a pain on a cold winters morning. It was cured by a new blower motor. Again you could probably do it yourself with the right tools (it should be under the glovebox and held in with a few screws).
Don't know what the sunroof could be but could turn out to be an expensive repair if you don't fancy tackling it yourself.
