We're wondering why Ace (11 year old SBT) has a tendency to shake when stood or sat still. It's not a scared shake, it's more like parkinsons sort of thing. He doesn't seem bothered by it at all, but we've not seen it before & are wondering if it's a common thing?

Oh nearly forgot, it's normally his front legs shaking.

Common but I don't know the cause. Poss col or poor nerve conduction, not usually considered a painful problem but can become quite pronounced.

Probably worth a discussion with your vet at some point.

My Mums 9yo SBT is exactly the same, probably meaty dog treat withdrawal symptoms if she's gone without for much more than 30 seconds...

I think this one is cuddles withdrawal symptoms, made more amusing by ACE being the one who likes to eat strangers.

Cheers for the info both. It never seems to bother him but it's nice to know it's likely to be owt serious.

My staffy mongrel used to do that, give him a biscuit and it stopped instantly.
