Lower wishbones

'Scuse the silly question but I haven't rebuilt a car before so hoping those that have will (continue to) share their knowledge, for me but more importantly for all those others out there eying off cheap wedges and considering taking the plunge. There will be a lot of these :-)

Q: I have a few mm gap between the wishbone inner bushes and the chassis so that when I put the bolt through the lower wishbone, it can slide fwd and back maybe 5mm total. Before I stripped it down the wishbones looked like this:

Guessing I should be putting washers between bush and inner face of chassis U channel to remove lateral movement as well as outside against bolt/castellated nut?

I would agree.I would also check the tracking once it was on the ground. Best of luck.
