When I last looked into it, it didn't know which side of the road cameras were mounted on so gave out false alarms etc. Software also looks a bit shite.

More inclined to get a proper hardware based one personally, although my origin blue i has gone kaput

Paul, do you already have a Pocket PC or Palm? If you don't, then consider buying one of the dedicated units as by the time you've bought this and the palm/pocketPC you're pretty close to the same money.

If you tell me what you've got then I can recommend some things.

Also have a look at www.ukspeedtraps.co.uk/trafcam.htm

Paul, If your using Tom Tom 2/3 then this is I think the best software there is. If you download "checkpoint" and install it onto the pda it fully integrates with TT 2/3 and then you can download the sc database from the same site and add it on as if it were another map. I have been using it for about 3 weeks and it is spot on. You can even add and remove cameras and blackspots that you do/dont want to be there.

Should keep the and the away and keep you happily.

Oh and I forgot to mention the best bit.........its FREE

Thanks all. I used to have a Geodesy but they cut me off. I'm thinking about getting a Navman but now I'm wondering again having looked at all these sites.
