I am the proud new owner of a 99 4.5 Cerbra. The car is is brilliant !!.
I have one small problem; occasionally when selecting second gear it immediatley jumps out of gear into neutral. Is this a common problem ? Is there a fix and what sort of costs should I expect if a fix is known.

Thanks

had exactly the same problem. turned out that when selecting second gear the surround of the gear stick itself was not big enough and was obstructing it going in porperly. HAve a look and see if the gear stick is actually touching the leather housing of the gearbox covering ie the bit you rest your arm on.

Has anybody else got any advice to offer on this subject?

It's the only thing that is tainting TVR ownership so far.
