Chrome + XP = unable to "remember me" during log-in

As above, something has broken because I've been logged out on my XP lappy using Chrome and the "remember me" check box refuses to be ticked. I am now prompted to log-in every time I come to the forums.

Please fix.

I'll +1 this. Almost.
It doesn't happen *every* time, but far more often than any other browser. Although, it's only an issue on desktop Chrome, mobile version seems to be fine.

I don't think you've much chance of a fix on a 13-year old OS which even the manufacturer doesn't support anymore...just sayin'.

It doesnt sound like an OS issue
An OS handles all the tasks on a machine.
A browser displays content on the interweb
Surely it's a browser vs website issue
