Hi Bill,
I am certainly no expert, but a good place to start would be to have a read of all the info that Joe has put on the Suspension Wiki on this S series forum. There are so many variables affecting handling performance and every individual car is different, plus this is a very subjective field. One person's ideal setup could feel awful to another's preferred handling traits.
I would suggest starting with a proper full standard geo setup by somebody who knows what they are doing, see how that feels to you, then if you feel it necessary, progressively make adjustments in a considered logical manner until you get the "right feel" for you.
Bear in mind that everything in your suspension / chassis / steering train should be in good order, and tyre choice can make a massive difference.
Try talking to some of the guys who take their S's sprinting or on trackdays.
Good luck,
Glen
