I just renewed the insurance on my Cerbera with Footman James for £209!!!
I couldn't believe how cheap it was especially all modifications declared and 10,000 miles with agreed value, track day cover can be brought separately and if the car is written off I get the salvage.
There is however one major draw back..............................I had to join the Car Club, something I really didn't want to ever do again but it saved me £300.

That's a great price
FIOO £250 for me through Adrian Flux with 15 years No Claims and fully comp through an insurer called Kinetic similar kind of mileage value etc.
Weirdly was cheaper to have my better half insured as well (!*!) although I think convincing her to have a drive would be _very_ difficult!!

We have a multi car policy with Sky, it's the best part of £2,000 but most of that is a newish 6 series (group 50) on business use. I asked how much it would be to add an old Scooby WRX (worth about £1k) I've got knocking about to the policy, they wanted another £450, that seemed a bit much so I asked how much the Cerb was out of the £2k policy - £90!! It's agreed at £20k value too.
It's mental that a 4WD 200BPH car can cost so much more than a Cerb at the same house with the same people driving it. They said it was due to claims on that type of car, fair play but it's us driving the thing...

Most of the major insurance companies will now insure TVR's and are half the price of the specialists and you don't need tvrcc membership.
I doubt they'd go as low as £197 with mods declared though and travel to and from place of work. Astoundingly cheap, cheaper than my Octavia to insure. Also requires no NCB which is good as I use them on my other cars. Gassing Station | Cerbera | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
