headphone questions

I'm after soem new headphones. I've got some in ear Sennheiser's, which are great, but my ear aches (probably due to bud size) after a while and they are cabelled.
I was thinking of bluetooth, so I can wonder around work with them, but do I go in ear again? And what do I spend? I think I'll use them a few hours a day, but it'll be for music/videos on YT rather than CD's etc. Or I'll use them for the TV at night etc.
Obviously the £270 bose ones have come up on the radar, but whats so much better than the £50 ones I've seen?
