Does anyone know what drive gear the 350i has in the tranny? Is there only one or several different ones?
Checked out why my speedo isn't working and it looks like the drive gear is the issue.

Three areas that cause problems are the square drive into the back of the instrument disengages, or the pinion seizes and strips the gears or the cable seizes (disconnect / test and lubricate)

For a stock 350 I would think you need the red variant but there are other colours for different flavours of instrument

From memory there's a white, a green, a brown, possibly black and a yellow?

if you want to stay original then a land rover dealer or aftermarket specialist such as Paddock spares will have them at reasonable cost.
How soon do you need it ?
If you can wait till mid November my parents are over from florida and i could get them to bring one back and post it to you.

Not in a hurry. I've been using my Garmin GPS suction cupped to the lens. There seems to be a big difference between what is shown on the LT77 exploded view drawing and the ones shown by some of the guys above. I don't believe anything listed for a Spitfire or Dolomite is correct but I haven't had a chance to pull it apart to see for myself. I could be totally of base.
I do like the GPS in dash unit from Speedhut, if I can get it made to look like what's in the car.
Where in FLA do your parents live? I'll be down in Jan for the 24hrs of Daytona. But mail works just as well.

Thanks
Charlie
